Crest Resources is pleased to announce that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with General Electric Company and GE Digital Energy on their Generative Development project.
The MOU was signed at the “Digital Day 2018” event in Paris on March 21st, 2018, by Crest’s CEO Nazim Khudairi and Manish Parekh from General Electric. The event was attended by key members of the French government, including President Emmanuel Macron.
In addition, Crest announced an investment in Assia Group through its wholly-owned subsidiary DAWN Investments Limited. Currently serving as the Board’s chairman, Jonas Lauren Norr will be appointed to the Crest Resources’ Board of Directors.
Crest’s CEO said: “We are excited to have signed this MOU, a significant milestone for both companies and indicative of the expansion opportunities ahead for both global technology leaders. We look forward to collaborating with GE and GE Digital Energy in their efforts to create a new industry architecture for distributed energy resource management.”

Crest will support General Electric’s efforts in developing distributed technologies that can be leveraged across industries.

Jonas Lauren Norr is a Swedish entrepreneur and Assia Group’s Board of Directors chairman. Mr. Norr started his career as a Management Consultant at a leading global strategy consulting group. He joined Panasonic in 1987, where he spent 11 years in various leadership roles – most recently as General Manager of Global Sales & Marketing for Energy Efficiency Business Group within Panasonic Corporation. He left Panasonic in 1998 to head up Vertiv, an $8 billion global business, part of Emerson Electric Co., based in St Louis, where he led the Business Integration Team that created the new company from separately agreed acquisitions.
